I'm Kuldeep Vaishnav, the engineer and designer behind AI Programming Cafe. I've spent the last few years building production software — Spring Boot backends, Next.js frontends, the boring parts that actually keep a business running.
Most freelancers either ship pretty things that fall over, or solid things that take forever. I'm interested in the version where the same person owns design, code, and deployment — so the trade-offs get made in your favor instead of being lost in a handoff.

Things people ask before saying yes.
How do you price projects?
Most projects are fixed-scope, fixed-price — you know what you're paying before we start. For ongoing work I use a monthly retainer (16, 32, or 60 hours) at a flat rate. Hourly billing exists, but only for tiny ad-hoc pieces.
What's a typical timeline?
Marketing site: 2–3 weeks. E-commerce: 4–6 weeks. SaaS MVP with auth, payments, and admin: 6–10 weeks. I quote a date in the proposal and treat it like a contract.
Do you work with non-technical founders?
Most of my clients are. You'll never get a sentence with three acronyms in it from me. I write briefs, demos, and progress notes in plain English, and I'll happily walk you through every decision.
Will you sign an NDA?
Yes — I have a standard mutual NDA I can send, or I'll sign yours. For sensitive work I also offer dedicated repos, separate cloud accounts, and named contributor handoff.
Do you do ongoing maintenance?
Yes. Every project includes 30 days of post-launch fixes free. After that you can roll into a monthly retainer that covers updates, monitoring, small features, and a guaranteed response time.
